River Narmada,
Child of the sea,
Who will set your waters free?
Giving life force of the land,
Watch as one your people stand.

Narmada's children standing tall,
Hand in hand shall never fall,
Reaching up with all their worth,
Bringing heaven back to earth.

Mother earth and father rain,
Give us strength and friends we'll gain,
With seeds of hope we'll plough your fields,
With arms of strength we'll reap your yields.

River Narmada,
Child of the sea,
Who will set your waters free?
Giving life force of the land,
Watch as one your people stand.
