A slip
This has reference to my article No nation is an island (October 11). Inadvertently, I missed out on some words. The first sentence of the article as it was printed read: “The general and Presidential elections in Sri Lanka were held in the first week of
October.” What I meant was “The general elections in Sri Lanka were held in the first week of October and Presidential elections are to follow within another 18 months or two years”.
